This is just a staple pattern that should be in any trout anglers box. It has really become a “go-to” pattern around here. We use this fly for of course BWOs but also for Sulphers, Pseudocloens and those other pesky tiny bugs that hatch in the late Summer and Fall around here.
Bear’s Blue Winged Olive Parachute is a staple around here and one of our best “hatch matching” dry flies. A killer BWO parachute pattern from our old friend Bear Andrews. Nothing special really but Bear took a standard parachute and tweaked it a bit and put his name behind it.
