Carp On Fly (Urban Fly Fishing) – FlyBru

This is the first video by FlyBru, it features an afternoon fly fishing for carp in an urban area with South African Youth Fly Fishing team member, Nick van Rensburg. The dam we fished is a dam which is in a private housing estate next to a motorway and a shopping center, this is just indication that FlyBru will fish as long as we find water, no matter where or when. These carp proved to be as tricky as anticipated with plenty fish around along with plenty rejection. Scaling down tippet proved to be the key to success which only lead to being smashed up by one or too proper fish. Patience and determination landed a couple insane fish and losing a few flies was worth it. All in all a successful outing with great fish and a different but interesting setting.
