The Fish Skull Sculpin Bugger is a heavily weighted and highly effective variation of the traditional Woolly Bugger. A Fish Skull Sculpin helmet up front turns a bugger into a hybrid sculpin pattern. These come to us from the folks at Flymen Fishing Company and are designed by Martin Bawden himself.
Designed to be fished on the river bottom; can be dead-drifted or slowly stripped to imitate a sculpin. Tied with the award-winning Fish-Skull® Sculpin Helmet™ to get the fly down deep and ensure the fly will always swim in the hook-up position without snagging. Ultra-realistic Fish-Skull® Living Eyes™ act as an important trigger for predatory gamefish.
