A basic Yellow Sally/Yellow Stonefly pattern that originated on the Henry’s Fork. Pretty sure this is a Mike Lawson fly, Mr. Henry’s Fork himself. It is lightly hackled so tends to be better for slower/smoother water like the HF.
A must have for Summer trips out West but also great on the mountain streams in the East where the Yellow Stoneflies are found.
Mike Lawson’s Henry’s Fork Yellow Sally is tied on a size 14 hook.
