The Purple Parachute Adams is a great change to a classic pattern. Purple dries have become more and more popular as attactor patterns out west and it turns out that it works well almost anywhere as well.
This is a great pocket water pattern for mountain streams and also a good tailwater or spring creek general attractor. Not sure why they like purple but they sure do! In recent years this fly has become one of our best selling general dry flies. Somebody must have published an article?
